FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FORT WORTH, - June is National Men's Health Month and Black/African American Music Appreciation Month. ManPower and Music Fest (MPM FEST) will take place on Saturday, June 3 from 8am -2pm at Trinity Park, 2259-2289 River Dr. Fort Worth 76102. This event will bring awareness to Men's Health and celebrate Black/African American Music. The event will kickoff with a 5K/1K Run/Walk, followed by a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, which is an added component this year's activities.

ManPower and Music Fest brings together all the components of health, wellness and music. Health refers to a state where the physical body is free from disease, while wellness refers to an overall balance of a person's physical, social, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, environmental and occupational well-being.  We celebrate National Men's Month and Black Music Month together to intensify healing and/or rejuvenation of the mind, body, and soul.  The activities organized by The Dock Bookshop and partners are for the entire family as well as individuals, clubs, groups, social and civic organizations.

Also, there will be guest speakers and live entertainment moderated by Community Frontline and Mike Guinn of M G Productions. Also experience the MPM FEST Marketplace and shop with vendors. Plus, there will be fun activities for children. Please see the general schedule below:
