2019 in Review
Dear Sailing Science Supporter,

As 2019 comes to close I am inspired by the community and support that has gathered around the Sailing Science Center.

The Sailing Science Center is an all-volunteer organization committed to inspiring a passion for sailing and science. By encouraging interests that promote both the stewardship of our oceans and the skills to address the issues that threaten them, our mission is designed to produce the scientists and leaders we need to tackle our planet's biggest challenges.

With our crew of volunteers we charted a course in 2019 that achieved many important milestones. To name just a few, in 2019 the Sailing Science Center:

We are proud of all these achievements, but none is greater than the community of supporters that has formed around the Sailing Science Center’s vision. With this email we are inviting you to be part of that community.

I consider my life to be a gift. If asked what I want to do with that gift, my simple answer is to make the biggest positive difference I can make.
Shouldn't we all be aiming for that?
As 2020 nears it provides us an opportunity to consider not only our resolution for the next year but our resolve for the next decade. This decade will be pivotal to our future.  It will be a decade in which we decide many issues around the fate of our planet .

Together we can inspire a wave of interest that will transform people young and old through a new-found connection to the planet we call home. On behalf of our board of directors and all our volunteers, thank you for your ongoing support and best wishes for a joyous new decade.
