This Sunday will be the 3rd Sunday of Pentecost

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Ruth.

This is our time to celebrate you and all the ways you

volunteer your time and efforts in service here at John Wesley. 

Hospitality will provide cold drinks, chowder, chili and beans.

Trustees could also use help setting up tents and tables.

THE OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED FROM THURSDAY JULY 3RD - MONDAY JULY 7TH. The office will reopen on Tuesday July 8th

We are going to have the upper parking lot including the driveway to the lower parking lot and the three driveways going to the old youth room, the upper parsonage and kitchen door, and lower parsonage resealed on Wednesday, July 3rd. 

On July 3rd, cars will not be able to drive in these areas. 

The Sunday school entrance and the fellowship hall entrances will be accessible via the lower parking lot via Lakeview Avenue but there will be issues for persons with accessibility issues.

Changing our World for June is “Kind Hearts for Kids.”

 This is a local Cape Cod Organization which support “Foster and Grandparent Families with care and kindness.” They offer kindness and compassion to children and teens in Foster Families & Grandfamilies, helping them build mental strength, self-worth, and confidence to dream big. Their mission is to provide support through events, celebrations, and community activities that nurture emotional well-being and encourage resilience, helping kids feel strong and supported during tough times. Their flyer is posted on our Bulletin Board in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you for all your contributions to Changing Our World programs. Please review the bulletin board and learn how your Mission Dollars are spent.

As always, the box for food donations is in the Fellowship Hall near our Bulletin Board. Please donate food for the Falmouth Service Center on Gifford Street by placing your donations in the box. 

On behalf of the Falmouth Walk Committee I want to thank John Wesley for the Silver Sponsorship for the 2025 Walk that will take place on Saturday August 16th. Last year the Committee distributed $60,000.00 to 10 local non-profits. Registration is now opened so I encourage you to visit the Falmouth Walk website and register early to ensure you receive a walk t-shirt. The JW logo will be on 900 shirts with your increased sponsorship level. Last year we had a great JW turnout and hope we see an increase in this year’s participation. If you have any questions feel free to reach out Kate or Brent.
