Hey beer lovers! Raise your steins - Fertile Ground Beer Co. is thrilled to announce our 4th Annual Oktoberfest Celebration in the heart of Jackson, Mississippi! Join us on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 for two days of cold brews, festive vibes, and unforgettable fun at our brewery. Expect a weekend packed with our signature craft beers, including 3 special Oktoberfest beers brewed just for the occasion! We’ll have our popular Oktoberfest Märzen and Festbier, and something new to the Oktoberfest mix, Smoked Märzen!

We’ll be selling pretzels at our bar both Friday and Saturday, but you can also hop over to Rowan’s just across the street for bratwurst on Saturday! There’s plenty of other great food options available from one of our neighbor restaurants

in the Belhaven Town Center, so grab something to-go and head to the brewery! (We just ask that you throw away your trash when you are finished)

Here’s the rundown for the weekend:

Friday October 17th

12:00PM – Tap Room doors open and stein sales begin

5:00PM – Ceremonial tapping of the first keg!

Saturday October 18th

9:00AM – The Belhaven Hills Classic

10:00AM – Tap Room doors open. Additional steins available for purchase.

12:00PM – Live music with The Red Hots!

1:00PM – Bratwurst eating competition in the street! Sign up at the FG bar.

2:00PM – Stein hoisting competition in the street! Bring a 1 liter stein, fill it with water from one of the buckets, and get ready to test your strength!

2:30PM – Best dressed competition in the street!

3:00PM – Live music with Waterworks Curve!

You asked and we listened - this year, we have even more stein options! There are 3 sizes of steins to choose from including a 1 liter ceramic stein, a 1 liter glass stein, and a .5 liter glass stein. We’re selling half of each size option on Friday and half of each side option on Saturday. Each stein comes with a FREE POUR of either Oktoberfest, Festbier, or Smoked Märzen! Then, for the 1 liter steins, get a refill of those same beers for just $8 all weekend! Limited quantities are available, so be sure to grab one when they go on sale!
