SOUTH FLORIDA CONDO COLLAPSE:
ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN
Tuesday, September 14, join RAND Principal Peter Varsalona, PE for a discussion of the actions boards and managers can take to protect their buildings and residents, and avoid building failures like the tragic condominium collapse in Surfside, Florida.

Peter will be joined by fellow CNYC board members Holland & Knight Partner Stuart Saft and Michael Wolfe, President of Property Management at FirstService Residential. Together, they will comment on the recent disaster and its potential effect on New York structures, and discuss how to identify the portions of buildings that need to be examined and repaired or replaced on a regular basis, as well as the risk areas of pre-war, post-war and modern glass and steel buildings. The presentation will also cover specific legislation that has been drafted to mitigate future risk.

We hope you will join us for this important webinar, hosted by the Council of New York City Cooperatives and Condominiums (CNYC) and law firm Holland & Knight.

Register online by September 13; space is limited.
