June Education Power Hour:

The Hidden Workforce

Join Us for Our Next Virtual Education Power Hour!

Join Education Forward Arizona for our June Education Power Hour as we take a deeper look at Arizona's Hidden Workforce and the organizations helping connect individuals to education, training, and employment opportunities.

In February, we explored findings from the Arizona Town Hall Workforce Report and learned how the Hidden Workforce represents an often-overlooked source of talent. This month, we'll hear from organizations working to remove barriers and create pathways to employment for individuals across Arizona.

Presenters include Vanessa Zuber, Statewide Executive Director for Workability; Daniel Howe, Business Service Representative with the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES); and Sarah Shinn, AZ Roadmap and SkillBridge Coordinator with the Arizona Coalition for Military Families.

Together, they will share how their organizations support individuals with disabilities, justice-involved individuals, veterans, and military spouses in accessing employment opportunities—and how these efforts are helping employers address workforce needs across the state.
