Thank You for Supporting First Tee!

More than 275 friends of First Tee gathered at River Oaks Country Club this month to raise over $244,000 to support our kids at the 8th Annual Core Values Luncheon. The luncheon was extra special as we celebrated former HGA/FTGH President & CEO Steve Timms and enjoyed meaningful stories from First Tee alum Marlon Chapman, Jr.

We are so grateful to everyone who contributed — from our generous donors and volunteers to the First Tee participants who helped color and design over 100 custom bags for the wine pull raffle.

Every dollar raised goes right back into creating opportunities for the 300,000+ local youth we serve each year. Thank you for being such an important part of the First Tee – Greater Houston community.

Did you know that hundreds of elementary and middle schools across the seven counties of Greater Houston participate in First Tee's School Program?

This program is taught by their school as a unit in the physical education class or part of after-school enrichment. It combines school-friendly First Tee golf activities with our favorite Core Vales and Key Commitments.

Every spring, FTGH hosts the Champions Challenge at F.M. Law Park Golf Course. This is a field day for First Tee School Program activities, where three kids from each participating school come to the golf course to showcase their skills. It's a fun family event, and we want you to join us this year! If you would like to volunteer this year, please register today!

We’re incredibly proud of all the participants who showed up, stepped up, and sent it down the fairway at the Long Drive Qualifiers!

A huge congratulations to those below who crushed it and earned their spot in the Long Drive Championship.

Want to see who brings the biggest drive? Join us at F.M. Law Park on February 28 at 5 PM for the Long Drive Championship and cheer on our First Tee athletes as they go all out for the title.

F.M. Law Park is Open for the Whole Family!

F.M. Law Park Golf Course has long been an important home for our programs, offering a space where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, and experience the joy of golf. We’re excited to invite your friends and families to enjoy our hidden gem as well!

F.M. Law Park is now open to the public, giving our community its first glimpse of what’s possible—but the real transformation is still ahead. To begin construction by late spring, we must reach $3 million in commitments.

Your investment today will directly move us from vision to groundbreaking, creating a reimagined home where Houston’s youth can learn, grow, and thrive on and off the course.

Summer heat in Houston is no joke, and we are currently looking for Hydration Station Sponsors for Summer 2026. This $5,000 sponsorship comes with logo recognition at all seven of our programming sites throughout Greater Houston as well as our website and social media accounts. This family or company will have early access to summer programming and camps as well.

If you are interested in keeping our kids cool and making a tax-deductible donation, please email our Development Manager, Diana Duque today!

FTGH is a 501(c)3, Tax ID #27-3071348, that accepts checks, stocks, IRAs, bequests, and Donor Advised Funds. Diana can answer any questions you may have!
