These images of the canals and rivers reflect a lifetime of observing and expressively representing the city of Lowell's waterways.

Richard Marion has been an artist and art educator since the early 1960s. A Lowell native, he is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and the Chicago School of Design. His Gallery 21 on Hurd Street, founded at the start of the city's cultural renaissance, anchored the community art scene of its time. He later was a resident at the Brush Gallery & Studios in Lowell. His work is in private collections around the country and abroad.

Guided tours with the artist are available by appointment.
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May.
