Boston University Clinical & Translational Science Institute (BU CTSI) is proud

to present the 12th Annual Translational Science Symposium In Memory of David Seldin, MD, PhD (1957-2015). This year, we spotlight the intersection of artificial intelligence and regenerative medicine, bringing together thought leaders driving the future of translational science.

Featuring Keynote Speaker:

Roy Perlis, MD, MSc.

Associate Chief for Research, Department of Psychiatry, MGH

Director, Center for Quantitative Health, MGH

Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School

Dr. Perlis's lab integrates machine learning, genomics, and cellular models to study brain diseases, identifying the first genes linked to major depressive disorder and treatment-resistant depression. His work pioneered the use of electronic health records for psychiatric risk stratification. With over 400 peer-reviewed publications in journals like Nature Genetics, JAMA, and NEJM, he received the Klerman Award (2010) from the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), where he now serves as a scientific advisor.

Join us to hear from thought leaders in the field. Please see the agenda here.
