New Executive Director for Greater Vail Community ReSources


The Greater Vail Community Resources Board of Directors is pleased to announce the elevation of Mrs. Callie Tippett to the position of Executive Director of the 501(c)3. Drawing on her previous experience as Director of Development and Community Outreach for ReSources, Callie will lead the nonprofit organization including the operations of Resources Vail Food Bank and the Depot Thrift Store. Under her guidance, Resources will plan for continued growth in its service to the hungry and in addressing basic needs within our area.



The Resources board of directors, staff and volunteers thank the Vail community for its continued support of our mission.

ADOT Needs Your Input

Your input is needed as the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) begins the next study phase for the Sonoran Corridor, also known as State Route 410 (SR 410), a proposed new freeway in Pima County that would connect Interstate 19 and I-10, south of Tucson International Airport.



ADOT is asking the community to provide input via an online survey and mapping exercise to help determine interchange locations and areas of interest, including any conditions that may have changed over the past few years within the study corridor that should be considered by the study team.


The survey is open through Sunday, Sept. 1.
