Save the Date: Prechter Lecture Nov. 8

Please join us at the 17th Annual Prechter Lecture with keynote speaker, Andy Dunn, entrepreneur, investor, and author of his memoir, Burn Rate: Launching a Startup and Losing My Mind. Dunn chronicles his journey at the intersection of entrepreneurship and bipolar disorder. Following Dunn's presentation will be a panel discussion about bipolar disorder research. We will close the night out with a reception with light refreshments and mental health community resources.

This event is free and open to all, but registration is required.

Sarah Sperry Awarded K23 Career Development Award

The Prechter Program is ecstatic to announce that Sarah Sperry, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Associate Director of the Prechter Program, has been awarded a prestigious K23 Career Development Award for $963,166 from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The Global Bipolar Cohort and the Human Phenotype Ontology Group Collaborate for Summit

The groups came together in June for a Summit focused on improving and expanding the inclusion of mood-related terms within the Human Phenotype Ontology Group. Read more
