Deborah Bateman is well-known to regulars at A Gift of Art and we’re pleased to be hosting a solo exhibition of her work from April 1 to May 19. Meet the artist at the Grand Opening on April 1 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Refreshments will be served.

Pen and Ink with Dianne Darch – on Zoom – “Iris”

Dianne will take you on a 4 week creative journey using pen and ink techniques to create this timeless image of an elegant Iris. In the last week you will have the option to add colour.

A Gift of Art’s Book Club is back!

A Gift of Art is offering a free book club that will be meeting alternating Wednesdays from 11:00 – 12:00 in our main studio starting September 14, 2022. All books are provided through the gallery. Please contact us at gallery@agiftof-art.com or 905-987-2264 to register for your books.

Join us! We’ll have coffee and tea on tap for a special Speakers Series for Seniors. Everything you need, including reference material, on topics of interest to seniors like aging in place, avoiding scams, wills and power-of-attorney, and more.

The Series runs in-studio and online Wednesdays from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, April 19 to June 28 at A Gift of Art, 187 King St. E. in Newcastle. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend but you must register by calling the Gallery at 905-987-2264.

Linda’s inspiration comes from her interest in all aspects of nature and she hopes her artwork brings awareness and appreciation of the beauty and fragility of our natural world.

Linda is a member of the PineRidge Arts Council and the Oshawa Art Association. She is an associate member of the CSPWC and a signature member of the Toronto Watercolour Society.
