Following a brief annual meeting, we will celebrate projects from the past year and learn about what's in store for 2022-2023:
  • GGRWHC and Public Art: Women's History on the Streets - Jo Ellyn Clarey will share the story of GGRWHC's pivotal role in the murals of local women that now grace five alleyways downtown.

  • Unearthing an Army of Women: Diversity in our WWI Women's Registration Cards - Sophia Brewer will share highlights from the GGRWHC program that brought to light women of diverse talents and backgrounds who came forward to support the WWI effort.
  • Looking back and looking forward. A former Grand Rapids City Commissioner and one of the GGRWHC co-founders, Mary Alice Williams, will share her path to activism and public service as we start a year in which GGRWHC programming will focus on the 1970s and women's efforts in support of equal rights and other social justice issues and on advances made by women in gaining public office.
