As we close out the year, we acknowledge that what we need now, more than ever IS LOVE. And at VCBynum Arts, we express this love through the sharing of our Artistic Gifts.

It's my birthday month and on December 8th, I turned 55! You are invited to partner with (VC)Bynum Arts & Education as we continue to empower, educate, and uplift community through the arts. A birthday gift to me is a direct gift to the arts community. Happy Birthday, (Stevie Wonder style). 

In the spirit of LOVE FOR THE ARTS, we invite you to two of the following:

1. Donate $55 or more for the milestone birthday.
2. Donate any amount with at least two 5s in the amount. Whether you give $5.50, $25.50, $550, or $5500, every gift is appreciated.

Because of you, we have been able to grow and thrive in the dance community. This year alone, we proudly participated in at least ten events and touched the lives of over 1600 people. Highlights of our work include:

• Seattle International Dance Festival (SIDF)
• Artists at the Center (Seattle Center)
• Black History & Juneteenth Performances at Crossroads Mall, Bellevue College, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, and St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church.
• Choreography and performances for The Thea Bowman Musical – I will Live Until I Die, produced by ValLimar Jansen
• Community Workshops & Classes for teens and young adults
• Expanding our reach through in-person and online programming

While we celebrate these achievements, we also look ahead to the future. Our mission remains steadfast: to engage our community through art, education, and storytelling that deepens and shares connections to African American culture. But the only piece missing is YOU. Your generosity not only sustains our mission but also ignites creativity and hope in our community. Thank you.
