TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME

There are two great opportunities coming up to enjoy a ball game and watch the Grand Master throw out the first pitch!

Sunday, August 14th 

  • Michigan Masons Day at Jimmy Johns Field in Utica! Come watch the Utica Unicorns take on the Westside Wooly Mammoths at 1:00 p.m. for just $25. Cost includes your ticket, parking, hot dog, drink, chips, AND Jimmy Johns Field will donate $10 from each ticket sold back to your lodge’s Lodge Charity Account! Monday, August 15th

  • Many of you have seen the annual Little League World Series from Williamsport, PA, which is for the best 10-12 year old teams around the world. But did you know that the Junior League World Series (for 13-14 year-olds) is held right here in Michigan? Heritage Park in Taylor has been home to the event since its inception in 1981. This year the Series will be held August 14th-21st. The Michigan Masons and Grand Master Leonard Davis will be recognized prior to the 5:00 p.m. game on Monday, August 15th. The game will be between Australia and a yet-to-be-determined team. All Masons, family and friends are encouraged to come out and show their support! Please CLICK HERE for more information.

  • If you're attending the 2022 St. Andrews Society Highland Games at Greenmead Village in Livonia, stop by and see Livonia United Lodge #152! The lodge will have a "fellowship tent" set up at the festival and will be taking part in the opening ceremonies. Contact PM Trent Thiry at [email protected] with any questions or volunteer offers.
  • Breakfast is served at Plymouth Rock #47 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Sunday, August 7th

  • Burdickville’s 129th Old Settlers Picnic will be held at Old Settlers Park overlooking Glen Lake. This year marks’ the return of Empire Lodge #597’s famous dinner of roasted beef, corn, cowboy beans and more! Cost for the dinner is $10, serving from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 p.m.
  • Breakfast is served at Colon #73 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and Millington #470 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.

Wednesday, August 10th 

  • Blood drive at Romeo #41 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please make an appointment to give at redcrossblood.org, use ZIP 48065 to search.

Sunday, August 14th

  • Breakfast is served at Smiths Creek #491 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon and the Battle Creek Masonic Center from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • Before you head to Jimmy Johns Field, stop by the Royal Oak Temple in Madison Heights for a corn roast! Serving from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 p.m. or until the food runs out! $10, $5 for kids 5-12.

Friday, August 19th

  • Star of the Lake #158 will host a veterans service as part of South Haven’s “Salute to Veterans & First Responders” weekend. Service begins at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public. CLICK HERE for more information.
