Greetings,

Civil Air Patrol is pleased to return to an in-person national conference, NatCon 2022, in Louisville, Kentucky, with an improved format bringing more value as we get together to see old friends and make new ones in the land of thoroughbreds. Check out the conference main page for details.

Textron Aviation is the title sponsor of NatCon 2022.

Basic registration is a better value than ever before, now with continental breakfast in “The Hangar” and boxed lunches included Friday and Saturday. Bring your meals to the ballroom as keynote speakers Maj. Gen. Edward Phelka, CAP national commander/CEO, and renowned innovation and leadership expert Dr. Jeff DeGraff share their knowledge and experiences with you. Each session also features CAP's national award recipients.

Also included this year is access to “The Hangar” exhibit and social space. Serving as the hub of activity for NatCon 2022, this multipurpose space houses sponsor tables, discovery sessions, office hours with your national staff, beverage breaks, videos, a games area, and other activities.

Don’t miss the outstanding education and training opportunities also available. Choose from 48 different learning sessions scheduled during the conference. Some of these sessions will qualify for Volunteer University credit.

Saturday we’ll host an Operation Pulse Lift Blood Drive as we give back to the community through this important program. Roll up your sleeve as we try to reach the goal of 15,000 units of blood by Oct. 1.

And join us for an “Evening at the Museum” featuring a VIP Kentucky Derby Museum experience Saturday night. Enjoy an evening of food, fun, and fellowship. Your $75 ticket secures your round-trip transportation, museum admission, food, iced tea and water, and surprises.

And, of course, your favorites: Vanguard Store, Thursday Opening Reception ($15), expanded learning activities through the preconference sessions ($20 each), and the Call to Prayer are waiting for you.

Early-bird conference registration is open until midnight June 8 for the discounted rates of:

  • $139 for early-bird basic conference registration
  • $75 for early-bird “Evening at the Museum” tickets
