Toy Swap at Edgewood Clubhouse
Friday, January 16th | 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Santa Claus arrived early this year with toys for many children in our community thanks to Toy Trader.

Join Julie Janides, Founder of Toy Trader App and fellow neighbors this month as they have one more event prior to the Holidays. This is a fun evening of community and connection at the Edgewood Clubhouse!

Attendees are asked to bring (but NOT REQUIRED) gently used and clean toys to swap with other families while all enjoy games, fun and free pizza.

Let's all work together to keep toys out of our landfills and in the hands of kids who will love them!

This event is FREE and OPEN to ALL. PLEASE RSVP BELOW TO ENSURE THERE IS ENOUGH PIZZA FOR ALL!

Green Your Routine – Fort Lauderdale

Living greener doesn’t require big changes—just smarter daily habits that protect our waterways, neighborhoods, and coastal environment.

At home, switch to LED lighting, unplug unused electronics, and set thermostats a few degrees higher to save energy during South Florida’s warmer months.

Be water-wise by fixing leaks, taking shorter showers, and watering lawns early in the morning to reduce evaporation.

Cut waste by using reusable bags and bottles and taking advantage of Fort Lauderdale’s recycling programs.

Drive less when you can—walking, biking, or combining errands helps reduce emissions and traffic in our community.

🌱 Green Tip of the Month

Install a rain barrel or use collected rainwater for your plants—it reduces runoff into our canals and helps conserve water during dry months.

Small changes at home make a big difference for Fort Lauderdale’s future.
