COPD Foundation Captain Spotlight:

Caroline Gainer from Daniels, WV

COPD Foundation Captains are volunteers with COPD, caregivers, friends and family members, or healthcare providers who use their contacts and talents and partner with the COPD Foundation to serve as state and community leaders. Today, we are highlighting Caroline Gainer of Daniels, WV!

What has impacted you the most with your work through the COPD Foundation? Making friends with people that I first met on COPD 360 Social and then meeting them in person and continuing to work with them on projects.

What would you tell others who want to get involved with the COPD Foundation?

You will find accurate information here and the people here do care about you.

Fun fact about yourself? When I was in the 4th grade, I accidentally knocked someone down while sliding on the ice. My best friend said, "Ice is hard, your head is soft, you better look out for Goofy Goff.” This nickname stuck with me.
