Bear witness to God's fearless love by marching in San Diego's gay pride parade. Come early to participate in a street Eucharist. Bishop Susan will celebrate and the Rev. Susan Russell will preach. After walking the route, enjoy a barbecue at the Cathedral. Meet near Normal and University Streets.

Changing the World through Interfaith Activism Workshop

Learn state-of-the-art methods behind three tracks of social justice advocacy: lobbying public officials, communicating with the press, and organizing persuasive grassroots actions. This interactive workshop will have role-plays, guaranteeing maximum engagement and lessons that will stick for life in pursuit of social justice.

DevOUT Interfaith Village
DevOUT will operate an interfaith village with a space where faith communities may offer 20-minute presentations on the hour from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday of Pride weekend. Information tables where faith communities can leave resources will be available.

Pride Flag Pole
Prior to the start of the parade, queer faith leaders and allies will pray over the Pride parade. This presence will be a witness to parade-goers and media alike.

Hear from guest preacher, the Rev. Susan Russell from All Saints', Pasadena. She is an Episcopal priest, activist, wife, mother, past president of Integrity, founding member of the Human Rights Campaign's faith and religion council, and a member of Planned Parenthood's national clergy advocacy board.
