Mental Illness

Anxious? Depressed? Ever had the desire to learn more about -- or have you personally danced with -- labels & limitations associated with mental illness or disability?

We are incredibly excited to share this invitation to join the 1st Annual Sweaty Sheep Santa Cruz Disability and Mental Awareness retreat and hope you will consider coming out to Tahoe in February for this time of therapeutic recreation, vulnerability, and diverse interactions in our experiential & experimental

SNOWY SABBATICAL:

Destigmatizing Disability and Mental Illness in the cultivation of a more cohesive and collaborative community.

Who?? ...YOU!!!

Any individuals experiencing controlled mental illness or living with disabilities that would like to use their experience as a source of imparting wisdom on the broader community.
Caretakers, therapists, interns, students, community leaders who want to learn through interaction and recreation how to better include and understand mental illness and disability...
Any professionals that would like to come with a client (you can charge accordingly for your work and we simply ask a $100 donation to offset cabin costs... what an awesome way to extend your own practice!!!)

Cost:
We are asking for a $100 donation to help offset the cabin costs but we never let cost inhibit participation!...

What?
Join in art, play, yoga, etc as we bring a diverse group together while empowering each attendee to share their story, wisdom, passions in a communal effort towards creating a more compassionate and inclusive community.

Where?
Zephyr Presbyterian Camp and Conference center... we have a 55 person lakeside cabin 2 miles from Heavenly resort
