Hey soon-to-be-grads – it’s time to celebrate!

Eagles are known for taking on challenges, and commencement in this time of COVID-19 certainly qualifies.

The summer virtual commencement celebration video will be published for viewing starting at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2. It’s just one way we plan to celebrate your many accomplishments.

What to expect: The virtual commencement will combine inspiring words from President Mike Martin and FGCU dignitaries. A series of personalized photos with individual messages will follow, and your name will be announced as it would be in a traditional ceremony. Guest speakers and the degree conferral speech will conclude the celebration.
Here's how to share favorite pictures: Visit the FGCU virtual commencement upload form to share photos. To add a special surprise, we also encourage you to upload a family photo of loved ones who were part of your FGCU journey. You do not need to wear a cap and gown to participate in the summer virtual commencement.
The last day to upload photos is Monday, July 6.

Remember: Encourage family and friends to view the celebration video starting at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2.

Congratulations and go Eagles!

Sincerely,
University Graduation Team
