Greetings of Peace and an early Eid Mubarak!
For twenty years now, the ISB has been sharing the powerful stories and contributions of Muslims in Georgia. The ISB has created positive and educational programs that engage, recognize, and celebrate American Muslims and Muslim tradition. It is with this spirit of optimism that I ask you to join me in supporting the ISB.
For me, making a donation to the ISB is much more than a regular charitable obligation. Giving to the ISB is a true privilege, especially now. With the onset of the pandemic, the ISB looked past the challenges and saw only opportunity. That has been the ISB’s way for 20 years.
When my wife, Dr. Rabeea Janjua, and I moved to Atlanta several years ago, we knew that connecting to the Muslim community was an important part of feeling at home here. By becoming involved with the ISB, we found a community of friends from all faiths and backgrounds.
As one of the most important community-builders, the ISB is making sure that Muslims are visibly engaged and represented in interfaith and civic conversations and events. Just looking at the list of leaders who offered Ramadan greetings and listening to their heartfelt blessings shows the honored place that the Muslim community and ISB holds in our state.
As we approach the end of Ramadan, and we commit ourselves to the highest values of our tradition, I give thanks for the ISB and for all our supporters, and offer blessings to you and your family.
Warmest Regards,
