Arizona Youth Mental Health Virtual Town Hall
LIVE- MAY 6 th , 2020 from 12pm to 1pm (MST)
60 Minutes recently called mental health the “second pandemic” and crisis that will follow all of the problems from COVID-19.

The prolonged effects of social distancing along with our youth being disconnected from critical social support and normal everyday life has already taken a toll on their mental health and safety. This has triggered alarming levels of reported trauma, substance abuse, relapse, psychological issues, and an increased call volume to suicide and other emergency crisis hotlines.

To slow and arrest the spread and transmission of the Coronavirus, isolation was encouraged and enforced, schools were closed before the academic year concluded, businesses were forced to shut down, travel was restricted, and social gatherings were canceled—all creating new challenges and needs.

notMYkid immediately restructured the way it was delivering its prevention messaging, mentorship, and outreach. It had to.

Please join notMYkid’s Board of Directors and Community Leaders for a unique and important presentation with our state’s and country’s best subject matter experts. Learn about the second pandemic’s effects on our community, notMYkid’s URGENT MENTAL HEALTH RX plan to address our community’s needs, and how you can be a part of it.
