Join the Advisory Board via Zoom on Sunday, November 22 from 10:30am – 12:00pm for Zumba with Emily Brown and Barre with Charmaine Chan.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness format which combines international dance styles and party music. Barre is an uplifting ballet-inspired workout that combines targeted movements to increase strength and stability while having fun!

For every ticket sold, Free People’s athletic brand will be donating FP Movement activewear to participants of the Girls Inc. Ambassador Club!

Advocacy Corner: Celebrating a Successful Advocacy Summit!
On Saturday, October 24th, Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey hosted the second annual Advocacy Summit - She Leads: Inspiring & Engaging Girls in Civic Engagement for 100 girls in kindergarten through 12th grade

Girls attended workshops covering the voter registration process, the U.S. census, youth activism, volunteering, and leadership development.

The day culminated with a She Votes Mock Election in which girls voted for a Presidential candidate and on advocacy issues.

BOLD Futures Mentoring Program
BOLD Futures is a year-long, after school mentoring program for girls age 9-14 in the City of Philadelphia. This program equips participants with the guidance, support, and skills necessary to be engaged in school, build healthy relationships, and reduce risky behaviors. Participants are supported by university and professional mentors who facilitate a wide range of engaging activities throughout the year. Register here!
Eureka!
We are currently recruiting rising 8th and 9th grade girls for the Girls Inc. Eureka! program. If you or a girl in your life will be attending 8th or 9th grade in the fall of 2021 apply here!

Eureka! is an intensive, five-year STEM based program that builds confidence and skills through hands-on opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math. Eureka! broadens girls’ academic and career interests, encourages enrollment in advanced math and science courses, promotes positive risk-taking, and assists girls in developing professional networks.
