Hello and Happy Autumn! This is an exciting time of year for us at PRISMA. We are still elated about the success of the 2016 season, and are already starting to plan for the 2017 season.

Now Hiring: Festival Operations & Communications Assistant
A part-time paid opportunity for youth aged 15-30

Are you a youth aged 15-30 interested in gaining information and communications technology (ICT) skills, knowledge and work experience? Are you looking for diverse work experiences to decide on a future career? Do you have a passion for arts and culture? PRISMA is looking for help in planning our 5th orchestra academy and festival --  be a part of this amazing music event.

Gain skills in organization, ticketing software, box office coordination, and marketing and communications by joining our diverse and vibrant team. Applicants must have demonstrated skill achievement beyond the secondary school level and be legally entitled to work in Canada.

PRISMA Student Wins Job
2016 Conducting Student Jessica Morel Named Assistant Conductor

Jessica Morel came to PRISMA 2016 as a conducting student. She is now serving in her first season as the Assistant Conductor of the Winston-Salem Symphony. She leads the Discovery Concerts for Kids, the Mary Starling Educational Concerts, selected Plugged-In-Pops Concerts, and covers for Music Director Robert Moody. She is also the Music Director of the Youth Orchestras Program.

She is the first female assistant conductor in the Winston-Salem Symphony's 70-year history. Congratulations, Jessica!
