Join us online for this session of The Essentials of Victim Advocacy! We've developed a 100% digital curriculum to ensure the safety of our training team and our class participants, complete with a virtual classroom and recorded sessions.

If travel and time differences have ever been an obstacle, we are pleased to offer a Pacific, Mountain, and Central time zone friendly session of The Essentials!

Each student will receive an Essentials Student Home Care Box, equipped with everything you will need for the week!

Even though we've gone completely virtual, the same expert training team will teach you the tools needed to provide crisis intervention to individuals who have experienced trauma.

Enhance your skills with group practice role-play sessions with trained coaches. You will receive individual coaching and feedback to ensure that you are comfortable translating the knowledge learned during this session into practical applications!

Note: Participants are encouraged to register prior to September 18th to ensure that the Essentials Student Home Care Box arrives prior to the first day of the session.

Full-Time Victim Advocate
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday

As a Victim Advocate, you will provide trauma-informed services to victims, family members, and communities, impacted by crisis, violence, or tragedy. You will offer immediate crisis intervention and advocacy via phone or in-person to address the aftermath of the client’s victimization.

Our ideal candidate is a confident team player with a passion for helping those in need!

Full-Time Receptionist
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday

As our Receptionist, you will provide essential administrative and direct service support to guests, staff, and victims of crime and trauma seeking in-person assistance in our main office.

If you are a compassionate and confident professional with the technical skills to provide daily administrative support for our Director of Service and direct service staff, we are looking YOU!

Full-Time Director of Community Outreach
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday

As the Director of Community Outreach, you will lead the newly formed Outreach Department’s aspirations to develop, execute and implement marketing strategies to accomplish Victim Assistance Program’s strategic and annual plans.

Our ideal match is a dynamic, team player with the experience and skills to reach new audiences and break through barriers to advance our agency's mission.

Our advocates are still providing 24/7 crisis intervention and advocacy services to our community.
As we continue to navigate the current landscape caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to monitor all information available to us in order to best serve our clients, while also keeping the safety of our clients and staff in mind. We will keep you up to date on our plans to reopen, when that time comes.

Additionally, as the only agency providing on scene response to Summit County victims of crime and trauma, we have and will continue to provide in person services upon request from local law enforcement, Summit County emergency management agency, EMS, and/or fire officials.
