A child’s work
is
play. And there is no better time for play than summer. As Bounce celebrates its fourth birthday this month, we are proud to be helping hundreds of Bounce Kiddos, Bounce Siblings, even Bounce Parents, play!
But there are thousands more battling chronic illness on their own "islands", invisible and isolated. Left alone,
all
will suffer unnecessarily, both physically and mentally.
Bounce envisions the day when no child, and no loved one of that child, battles a
disease
for which there is no cure on their own. One day, Bounce will help each of the nearly 1 in 5 U.S. kids who need us.
This summer we are taking a
major
step toward that goal, thanks to two very special friends who are
matching, 1:1, every dollar raised.
The
Bounce Capacity Building Challenge Grant
invests in our ability to help more kids & families today - and tomorrow - and for years to come! Gifts to the
Challenge Grant
will fund the hiring of a fundraiser in 2019, allowing Bounce to raise even more funds, and a marketing/communications person in 2020 to expand visibility in Chicago - and beyond.
