The original water source in Nyalunya, Kenya where they worried not only about their dirty water, but also the very real threat of hippos. Read below about their experience.

When Village Chief David Hongo received a well in his village drilled by Family Humanitarian, he told us, "This is the greatest thing that has happened to our village in hundreds of years." The village struggled to get water from a distant river, but when there was no rain for long periods, there was no water to collect - the search became even longer and more arduous. Additionally, collecting this dirty water brought with it the enormous danger of sharing the water source with hippos. The new, clean water source in Nyalunya, Kenya will completely change the lives of everyone who lives there. It will bring greater health, safety, and new opportunities.
