Graduating Student Deadline Reminder
Spring graduates: please be sure to apply for a degree by the Friday (May 3) deadline so that your name will be in the Commencement program. Summer grads must compete the electronic degree application and then contact their Advisor to complete a request to walk in Commencement by May 3 to be included in the June program list.
Join the 2024 Celebration of Engineering!
The 2024 Celebration of Engineering will be held on Friday, June 7. In addition to the Senior Design Champion Competition, the day will feature a general senior design competition, a first-year design competition and an undergraduate research competition. Showcase your work for the Drexel Engineering community and beyond and get a chance to win prizes!
Any senior design/capstone team from the College of Engineering can participate in the General Senior Design Competition. Specific teams will be selected to compete in the Senior Design Champion Competition based on department criteria. Any student team in ENGR 113 may be part of the First Year Design Competition. Any undergraduate students in their sophomore, pre-junior, or junior year that are conducting research may be part of the Undergraduate Research Competition.

Withdrawal Deadline Upcoming
The deadline to withdraw from a class is Friday, May 17, at 5 p.m. EDT. You can find instructions on how to withdraw on the Drexel Central website. If you are concerned about your grades in any courses, first speak with your instructor. If you decide you want to pursue a withdrawal, reach out to your advisor prior to Friday, May 17, at 4 p.m. EDT to discuss how withdrawing will impact your plan of study.
Soft Matter Research: Networking and Showcase
Please join your colleagues on Thursday, May 16 at 1 p.m. for an afternoon event showcasing and celebrating the variety of research activities withing Drexel focused on soft matter. We will kick-off with informal presentations by faculty followed by a poster session for students and postdocs. Students interested in presenting research can sign up to do so online.
