Service of Remembrance
Sunday, Oct. 6 at 11:30 a.m. | West View Cemetery
As we prepare for a new year, so do we reflect on our past, remembering those no longer with us. Mark this season by joining Rabbi Sharyn Henry at West View Cemetery for this brief and intimate Service of Remembrance.
Tashlich
Sunday, Oct. 6 at 5 p.m.| Rodef Shalom Biblical Botanical Garden
Tashlich means “casting off” and involves symbolically casting off sins by tossing pieces of bread into a body of flowing water. (We will be using fish food for the health of our pond's fish!) Just as the water carries away bits of bread, so, too, are sins symbolically carried away. Join us for a brief creative service, singing, and the opportunity to start the New Year with a clean slate!
