It takes a team with a coordinated, comprehensive medical response to protect Kansas children from abuse and neglect. Child Abuse Review and Evaluation (CARE) Providers are specially trained to recognize abusive injuries and provide a medical evaluation for children ages five years and under when physical abuse or neglect is suspected.

Join colleagues from across the state for this FREE two-day training to learn more about becoming a CARE Provider. The CARE Network is a partnership between the Kansas Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics, KDHE, DCF, and Board-certified Child Abuse Pediatricians at Children's Mercy Kansas City and University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita.
