Join the Kickoff Webinar for the New BBBS and Ulta Beauty Campaign

We are thrilled to invite you to the kickoff webinar of our exciting cause marketing campaign with our National Corporate Partner, Ulta Beauty. Ulta Beauty is partnering with BBBS to support our work around youth well-being and mentoring. In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, they will be executing a roundup campaign at all 1,300+ Ulta Beauty stores from May 19 – June 15, and the proceeds raised will create new resources in our youth mental health and well-being categories and benefit your agencies!

Please join us on March 27 as we dive deeper into the partnership with Ulta Beauty and step through the various resources, assets, and engagement opportunities that will be offered to your agency to help make this campaign a success. You'll hear from key representatives from the national office and local agencies who will share insights into the campaign’s goals and ways you can get involved locally, as well as answer questions you may have. This will be the first of two webinars to prepare your agency for the campaign. We look forward to your participation and collaboration as we launch this impactful cause marketing campaign with Ulta Beauty!

Nationwide Leadership Council (NLC) Seeking Committee Members

The Nationwide Leadership Council (NLC) Engagement and Governance Committee is actively seeking CEOs/EDs, affiliate Board members, and agency staff to join NLC committees.

Joining a committee is a great way to support the NLC's mission of promoting engagement, communication, and collaboration on strategic initiatives between BBBS agencies and the BBBSA National Office. It is important to note that committee positions are unpaid, and meetings require monthly or quarterly attendance. A term lasts two years, with an opportunity to renew for a second two-year term. Applications are due by Friday, April 5.

Bigger Together

Celebrating Advocacy and Impact on Capitol Hill Day

Thank you to all who actively engaged in Capitol Hill Day, passionately advocating for policies that prioritize the needs of our youth. Your commitment and efforts in bringing our concerns and proposals to the forefront of legislative discussions are invaluable.

Here's a glimpse into the experience shared by the CEO of BBBS Southwest Louisiana:

"It was a profound privilege to share a cup of coffee with Speaker Mike Johnson during our Capitol Hill Advocacy week with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Speaker Johnson's warmth and generosity were truly remarkable as he expressed sincere appreciation for our youth mentoring programs in rural South-Central Louisiana, particularly emphasizing the importance of supporting the most vulnerable youth. I was inspired to discover that Mr. Speaker himself had been a Big Brother during his time at Louisiana State University as a member of Kappa Sigma." –Erin Davison, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana

We look forward to advancing our shared mission and working together to build a better future for the next generation through community and advocacy.

Share Your Match Stories!

Igniting Potential Through Mentorship

Matched through BBBS of Miami, Tamar (Big) and her Little Brittany have enjoyed inspiring each other to be better and do better. They like to think that their match was based on the foundation of the BBBS Miami mission: “Create and support one-on-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.” In less than a year, the dynamic duo is already seeing the positive impacts that they’ve had on each other’s lives. They call themselves a “match made in heaven” because they have the same birthday and they see themselves in one another.
