Exciting News! The Trinity River Book Festival (TRBF), a multicultural event during National Literacy Month, will take place on Saturday, September 14th from 8am to 2pm at Trinity Park, 2201 W. 7th Street (7th Street & Museum Way) Fort Worth. Trinity Park Pavilion #1, will be transformed into a book lover's paradise, featuring books of all genres and for all ages. This event is presented by the American Reading Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in collaboration with The Dock Bookshop, its founder and managing partner. Trinity River Book Festival celebrates literacy, books, reading while promoting literary arts, authors and community. TRBF is free and open to the public. Families, individuals, groups - all are invited to attend a literary experience that blends celebration, education, and cultural appreciation in the heart of Fort Worth.

One of the highlights of TRBF is the focus on integrating a healthy lifestyle into the festivities. TRBF kicks off with Run-to-Read, featuring a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run. This unique experience combines a love for literature with physical well-being.

In addition, Trinity River Book Festival is packed with engaging presentations, insightful conversations, enlightening panels, various book-related activities, live performances, reading circles, children's zone, food, vendors and more. With its core mission of highlighting literature and fostering connections between readers and authors, this festival is meticulously crafted to cater to a broad audience spectrum, including families, singles, seasoned and budding readers, book clubs, educators, librarians, environmental advocates, social and faith-based groups, community leaders and professionals alike. Notably coinciding with Mexican Independence Day, the festival proudly acknowledges and honors the essence of Mexican and Indigenous communities.

TRBF will showcase over 60+ authors covering a spectrum of genres including children, middle grade, young adults, romance, mystery, thrillers, sci-fi, western, cooking, self-help, faith and inspiration, poetry, memoirs, motivation, history and more!
