National Voter Registration Day
is
TODAY!
National Voter Registration Day is celebrated every year on the fourth Tuesday of September.

First celebrated in 2012, it is a nonpartisan civic holiday that celebrates our democracy, and one that involves the collective efforts of thousands of volunteers, nonprofit organizations, businesses, schools, libraries, election officials, and more from all over the country.

This year, National Voter Registration Day will take place today, September 28. Together, our goal is to register 1 million new voters by 2022, reaching a total of 5.5 million new voters that have registered on the holiday across all fifty states and the District of Columbia since 2012.

The New York General Election is November 2, 2021. 'All politics are local', as they say, and this November, issues you care about are on the ballot in the form of constitutional amendments. Also up for election: Mayor, comptroller, city council and Borough President.

Don't miss your chance to have your vote counted. Register to vote, and always check your registration status, even if you're sure.
