Measuring, benchmarking, and responding to key performance indicators (KPIs) are essential to the long-term success of any business. In the increasingly complex and competitive marketplace of physical therapy, it is crucial that private practitioners are intentional about what they measure and that they understand data's importance in analyzing clinic performance.

To help practices collect and understand this data, PPS developed a method of benchmarking essential KPIs. The first 350 PPS members to register* will be eligible to submit their 2019 practice KPI data to be analyzed in the 2020 KPI Benchmarking Study. Data will be collected beginning in February 2020. In April 2020, all participants will receive a detailed individual report as well as an aggregate report that breaks down their KPI metrics by practice size, region of the country, and care model. Most importantly, the reports will paint a clear picture of how your KPI metrics stack up against similar practices in your region and nationwide.

Given the need to have similar data for useful comparisons, this offering is for members where the majority of their care is delivered in a brick and mortar clinic and insurance is the primary mode of payment.
