NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND HUNGRY

MANY COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS ARE ON BOARD

AND MORE ARE ADDED EVERY DAY! THANK YOU!

This Virtual Event takes the place of our Annual Gala

and funds the program for the 2026-2027 school year.

This event isn't just for our great community businesses,

it's for all of us.

Imagine what we could do if all of our neighbors could give just $10 a month to sponsor a food insecure student in Putnam County!

*That's the Power of 10*

Will YOU be a 10 for FTN?

Why are recurring donations so important for us? They provide:

  • Steady Support - Knowing we can rely on predictable funds helps us plan long-term projects instead of living crisis to crisis.
  • Greater Annual Totals - Spreading gifts across the year often lets people give more overall. Being able to give in smaller, regular increments increases giving over writing just a single check.
  • Deeper Connection - As we share regularly what we are up to and what our impact is, you are communicating with us your support for those efforts in return. You feel more connected to the ministries you support. That deepens the joy of giving.

Wow!! We were so humbled and grateful for the amazing amount of food that Palatka donated to us at Walmart for our Fill the Truck Foodraiser. We filled that truck at least three times! We worked hard and our volunteers stood at the doors and made sure every customer that went in had a little list of the three items we were collecting. It was hot and it rained on us and the food but it was such joyful work. This town donated about $6,000 in food to keep our students fed. We have such a loving community!

Hug a Palatkan today!

9th Annual Teen Packing Event

Over 200 teens from church youth groups and school clubs came together on September 3 to pack 31,000 meals for Putnam County students! How inspiring and fun that evening was for us. Our board members don't just talk about ideas, they work hard. They set up before the event, worked the event, and then stayed to sweep up the spilled macaroni and oatmeal afterwards. If you see one of our board members, be sure to thank them!

Thank you so much for helping us feed

Putnam County children in need!

Did you know you could have your very own food drive for us?

You don’t need a big event to make a big impact — anyone can host a simple food drive right at home, work, or church. Each jar of jelly and pack of ramen helps fill weekend food bags for children who might otherwise go hungry. Together, Putnam County neighbors are proving that small acts of kindness add up to full bellies and brighter futures.

Please contact us and we can provide you with assistance in implementing your idea.

Barwick Bank Cares

We were so thrilled to receive Heather Proffitt of Barwick Bank in late August. She got a tour of our operations and presented us with a donation for our efforts. Thank you so much Heather, and Barwick Bank.

Happy Birthday to Dawn Akers - 9/20!

We hope it's the best one ever!

Volunteer Spotlight

Angie Stuto!

Angie is one hardworking woman! She comes to the warehouse and accompanies Cherie to the Hub every single Thursday. Here she is serving with her nephew and Ruth at the Teen Packing Event. She is funny and warm hearted and very energetic. She loves going to Steinhatchee whenever she can get there.

She's got a great big truck too. She deserves our hearty thanks and a hug. When you see her, be sure to do both of those things. Thank you, Angie!

Why We Do What We Do

Izabelle Marie is remembered by her aunt, Cirienia Martinez. Izabelle entered God’s kingdom in 2014. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Martinez. Izabelle’s spirit lives through her mother, aunt, and uncle. She is forever missed and cherished as her family’s first baby girl.

Mary Joann Thompson lived in Florida for her last 70 years. She was an active member of the Palatka Horsemen's Club, where she excelled at Barrel Racing. She was also a caretaker at several Florida state parks. She was a Blue Star Mother 5 times over. All five of her sons served.

If you would like to memorialize someone special in your life, a recurring gift to Feed the Need is a wonderful way to honor them.

Please let us know if there is someone we can remember with you.
