Meet an Arabian Horse Feature of the Week DTD JESS DANCIN++/ 'Dan' (pictured right) is a 2007 Purebred Arabian Gelding (FSF Jesse James x Gdahlia). Dan was a breeding stallion and show horse who earned 26 regional level titles by the age of six, when both his breeding and show career were ended by a devastating injury. He actually completely shattered his scapula. He truly is a miracle as not only did he survive, but he has returned to moderate riding and looks after my youngest sister who has some physical balance and co-ordination challenges - he has even been on two ten mile trail rides this year! He is very sweet, and calm and enjoys attention very much!

DANCING IN DIAMONDS 'Diva' (pictured left) is a 2014 3/4 Arabian Mare (DTD Jess Dancin++/ x Diamonds Reflection) and is Dan’s daughter! Diva really just started getting out and about last year, and did a lot of miles on some challenging trail, and competed in her first Endurance race in October. She is ready to get to a show and do some Hunter Pleasure once we actually have a show to go to! Diva is a very bold and curious horse and she is very people oriented and friendly.

Perspective Farms
📍Columbia, MO
In 2019 we had the opportunity to purchase a beautiful hay farm in northern Boone County, just outside the city limits of Columbia, Missouri. We love our almost 100-acres of hay fields with Rocky Fork Creek running through the property and providing a wide variety of wildlife. Our favorites are the adorable otters in the creek and majestic eagles we see soaring over the hay fields. We love our farm for many reasons and chose Perspective for the name as it describes both the beauty of the farm and our philosophy on many things in life. In addition to hay, we breed and raise Arabian and Half-Arabian horses and have several broodmares on the farm as well as one of our stallions, CSP Barbancourt. We enjoy watching our foals grow up and like to share our Arabians with friends as well as hosting “Meet an Arabian Horse” events to introduce these wonderful animals to our community.

We enjoy being an Arabian Horse Association Discovery Farm and sharing information about the Arabian breed with new people.
