Join the Schulers in supporting your family's favorite safe-haven
Lakeside Chautauqua is Bob and Jennifer Schuler’s favorite place to get away, relax and feel inspired with their family. Through raising their five children, who are between the ages of 9 and 17, Bob and Jennifer Schuler have developed a deep appreciation for Lakeside’s mission and its family-oriented community.
“My favorite part about Lakeside is that it’s a place for families,” said Jennifer. “We are blessed to be able to spend time in a place that upholds Christian principles and is specifically designed to enhance the mind, body and spirit.”
The Schulers enjoy the multifaceted experience at Lakeside and embrace the four Chautauqua pillars which positively impact their family.

“Lakeside is a slower way of life – it’s an oasis away from our stresses and worries,” said Jennifer. “Lakeside allows us to feel connected with each other and our community without all of the distractions.”

The Schulers’ passion for Lakeside and its mission inspires them to give to the Lakeside Annual Fund, which underwrites all of the programs, places and elements that comprise the Lakeside experience they cherish and admire so deeply.

“It is so important to give to Lakeside to maintain all that it stands for and to allow for greater development of the 4 Chautauqua pillars,” said Bob. “Given how the pandemic has affected nearly all aspects of our society, including Lakeside, I believe it is necessary and well worth your money to support our community right now.”

Join the Schulers on (or before) December 1 for Giving Tuesday to help ensure your ancestors of yesterday, your friends of today and your great grandchildren of tomorrow share the same Lakeside experiences. Visit, call the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation Office at (419) 798-4461, ext. 246 or mail checks payable to the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation to 236 Walnut Ave., Lakeside, OH 43440 to make an impact today.
Your gift supports what your family loves most about Lakeside
On #GivingTuesday 2020 your gift directly supports…
  • Inspiring dockside worship services for your family at sunset, the day your child was introduced to God through Chip Richter’s God Squad program and a motivating preacher of the week service in Hoover Auditorium on Sunday Morning.
  • An enriching Chautauqua Lecture Series Seminar, being openly welcomed into a book club and watching a family experience the importance of preserving the lake through a science program.
  • An uplifting Lakeside Symphony Orchestra concert, the first time your family danced together in the aisles of Hoover Auditorium and watching your child’s face light up as they listened to one of their favorite songs during a pops concert
  • A recreational challenge, a family basketball game, teaching your children to swim and watching them play a game of pickleball while making new friends.
Through your love and support of Lakeside, together, we will work through these uncertain circumstances and continue to be the great community so many of you love and call home.
