Be a Part of the
Ballard High School PTSA!
As part of the Ballard High School PTSA, you can make a difference for our students and staff. Any of our Board and Committee roles may be shared as a co-chair position, so you can collaborate on this important and fulfilling work with another parent/guardian.
President: The President manages the overall objectives of the BHS PTSA including fundraising and community building while acting as a liaison between the BHS staff and the parent community. In addition, the President facilitates monthly board meetings and three general meetings each school year.
Volunteer Coordinator: This position helps recruit volunteers for various functions within the PTSA, including back-to-school support, the Auction/BASH, SPREE, library activities, and other PTSA-sponsored events.
Family and Community Engagement (FACE): The FACE committee supports activities to foster awareness of both the needs and resources in the BHS community. Volunteers help coordinate the Weekend Food For Kids program, sponsored by the Ballard Food Bank, and BHS’s Bucky’s Holiday Giving program which assists our families who may not have the financial stability to enjoy the holiday season.
Thank you for a great year, hope to see you Thursday!
Gloria Kruzner
Ballard High School PTSA President
