Flags of Nations

Flags representing each of the 48 qualifying nations are now on display surrounding our Miami Beach sign at Ocean Drive and 5 Street. Make sure to stop by and snap a pic!

Arena of Nations: 48 Giant Soccer Balls

Our Arena of Nations 16‑ft inflatable soccer balls are rolling out across Miami Beach.

Soccer balls for the 48 qualifying nations will all be up by June 5. Visit www.miamibeachfl.gov/worldcup to see a map of where each one will be located and catch them on display for the duration of World Cup season.

For added fun, the city will invite fans to explore the installations through a mission-style scavenger game powered by Badger. As visitors discover each soccer ball, they’ll be encouraged to capture photos or videos and upload them to a live global feed hosted on the dedicated Miami Beach World Cup website. A dynamic “surge” system will power the experience: when one country’s fans are the most active within a given period, that nation rises to the top and takes over the live feed.

REEFLINE's Big Goals by PLAYLAB, INC.

REEFLINE will transform Lummus Park into an immersive arena where art, marine education and sport meet. On the beach at 12 Street, a monumental pitch with oversized goals invites everyone to play in a game where all win. Created by PLAYLAB INC. as part of the Miami Host Committee’s “One Game, One Passion” legacy program presented by Uber, the installation uses soccer to advance ocean literacy and highlight REEFLINE’s mission of conservation. The installation is free and open to all.

The mural will be on display for the next several months, serving as a powerful backdrop for photos, moments and memories on Washington Avenue in Miami Beach.

Local businesses are also joining the celebration with themed promotions, watch parties, dining specials, limited-edition retail, hotel packages and other offerings.

Special Event Transportation Enhancements on June 11, July 18 & 19

The City of Miami Beach is introducing free special event water taxi and shuttle services on the three upcoming game days expected to draw significant crowds to help mitigate traffic across the city.

Thursday, June 11 | 12 PM - 11 PM

An enhanced water taxi service will operate between the Venetian Marina (City of Miami) and Maurice Gibb Memorial Park (Miami Beach), supplemented by a free shuttle service to and from Lummus Park near 10 Street. This service is in addition to the city’s regular weekday free water taxi, which begins at 7 a.m. and will be extended until 11 p.m. on this date.

Saturday, July 18 & Sunday, July 19 | 10 AM - 11 PM

A free water taxi service will run between the Venetian Marina and Maurice Gibb Memorial Park, with a free shuttle service connecting to and from the Miami Beach Bandshell (near 72 Street and Collins Avenue). The city will also increase Miami Beach Trolley frequency by adding vehicles to key loops to support anticipated high demand.

Ongoing Citywide Transportation

Residents and visitors are encouraged to continue using the year‑round free Miami Beach Trolley and Freebee services. Real‑time trolley tracking is available through the Miami Beach Gov app. Miami Beach also offers miles of Beachwalk and green bike lanes, along with extensive bicycle parking citywide.

View the city’s bicycle parking maps for more information. For added convenience, Citi Bike provides more than a thousand traditional and electric‑assist bicycles at stations throughout the city. Please note: e‑bikes and e‑scooters are not allowed on the Beachwalk or shared‑use paths.

The Parking Department will implement enhanced staffing on strategic dates to ensure enforcement of residential zones and orderly parking operations throughout the city.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the City of Miami Beach will implement enhanced public safety staffing, crowd management protocols and traffic plans.

CERT volunteers will be available for any first aid needs at 10 Street and Ocean Drive on June 5-7 and June 11. They will also be on site at the Sand Bowl on July 18 and 19.

Sanitation

In preparation of increased activity, the city's Sanitation Division is performing enhanced pressure washing operations and litter can maintenance citywide. Cleanup crews are scheduled seven days a week, from very early morning hours to late at night, to avoid heavy periods of traffic and pedestrian activities. In addition to the weekly pressure washing schedule already in place, Sanitation is also deep cleaning high-traffic areas in North Beach, Mid Beach and South Beach.
