Neverland looking for Old Show DVDs converted from VHS

If you are an Alumni or Parent of an Alumni of Neverland Theatre and converted old shows VHS videos to DVD's, we would love to purchase one from you for our archives.

We have over 100 shows that were videotaped and have only transferred a few over.

If you converted one and would be willing to order an extra copy, let Andy Diskes know the cost and he will let you know if he has converted that one yet.

In fact it would be good for people to compare notes as to which shows that have been converted as to perhaps share them with each other.

Thank you very much for helping Neverland show the current generation of actors what Neverland did the first decade or so when many of the shows were originals.

Thank you.

Neverland announces auditions for its FALL MUSICAL: The Wizard of Oz! This is a faithful adaption of the classic MGM movie.

We have done this musical before but we will have an added feature this time around as Mariana's Dancing Studio will choreograph specialty numbers for the show for some pre-teens, teens and Adults.

Neverland is planning to produce shows two times per year: Fall and Spring this year so we hope you can fit it into your schedule to be part of all the fun and learning.

We are planning to produce a Full length version of the musical featuring adults in leading roles and a JR version featuring a cast under 18 in a 90 minute authorized version of the musical..Both versions will feature children as Munchkins/Flying Monkeys.

JOIN OUR CHOIR: If you want to be in the show to sing but are too shy to get up on stage, we have a choir that sits near the pianist and uses the music book to sing to support the actors/dancers. (No memorization!) Choir members should be ages 15 and over)

REHEARSALS START AT 6PM
We encourage you to come at 5:45pm to get settled and warmed up, especially on dancing night.

If work hours would make you arrive later than 6pm, please discuss that with us. We can arrange that.

ENDING TIMES:
MONDAY - WEDNESDAY:
In General Leads would stay til 10pm.
Teen leads would stay til 9pm (or 9:30pm if you are available for that)
Other cast members may be asked to stay til 9pm. But younger cast members can leave at 8pm or even 7:45pm if they would like. (Until we start putting show together a few weeks before the show.)

WHO REHEARSES WHEN:

MONDAY NIGHTS: Entire Cast (and Choir)

TUESDAY NIGHTS: Leads and featured actors of Jr. Version.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS: All Munchkins of both production til 8pm / Adult Leads of Full Length Version

(Once tech week starts, everyone comes to the entire week.)

CHILD MUNCHKINS: most likely the Munchkins will perform in all of the productions: Jr and the Full Version. If we have a big demand for Munchkin roles, we can have a separate cast for JR shows and for Full Shows and parents can decide which version but chances are we will have a group of 20 or so that will perform in all of the performances regardless of version. Also some younger cast members can choose probably to be in only half of the performances and we can have a Cast A and B of certain Munchkins. More info will come soon. Also Munchkins can portray Monkeys in Act 2. (Also Munchkins appear along the yellow brick road in all of the scenes after Munchkinland so they don't appear only in Munchkinland scene. Taller Munchkins can be Emerald Citizens or Witch's Guards instead of Monkeys if they want.)

REHEARSAL LOCATIONS:
