Come join us
for an afternoon
in the country

An enticing afternoon of musical treats awaits you at the SSO's Cows & Classics summer music celebration and fundraiser on Sunday, June 25, at the David and Annamarie Murray farm west of Stratford.
Puccini, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Gilbert & Sullivan, Mozart, Hummel and much more (including a delightful Rossini meow-fest for two sopranos) are on the docket, as is a tasty array of nibbles and drinks. Sit under the protection - from sun or rain - of the Murrays' new jumbo-size hay shelter. ( You will need to bring your own chair)
Enjoy a stroll through Annamarie's magical perennial gardens. (And come away with lots of ideas for your own garden.)
Performing artists will include two ensembles of musicians from the SSO, award-winning vocalist Chloe Weir with her two sisters, and soprano Katherine Napiwotzki.
Tickets ($20) are available at the event, as well as on the SSO website ("Buy Tickets") and at Blowes Stationery and Fanfare Books in Stratford. The event begins at 1:30 p.m.
To reach the Murray farm from Stratford, drive west on Highway 8 toward Mitchell. Turn left on Road 155 and proceed to 3844.
