A Taste of
SHABBAT, SHIRAH & HAVDALAH
SATURDAY, MARCH 26 at 7:00 pm ET
on Zoom
Cantorial Spiritual Leader Andrew Susman
We welcome one and all to this special service with Andy, filled with music and love. Havdalah is a very special tradition, during which we use all of our senses:
-
to smell the sweet spices
-
to see the flame
-
to feel the heat and hear the crackling fire of the Havdalah candle
-
to taste the sweetness of the wine
We combine some of the best of Shabbat through prayer, word, and melody - concluding with Havdalah, a beautiful service, ‘separating’ & elevating the holy day of rest from the rest of the week. We bid farewell to our Sabbath Queen and long for her return once again next Friday!
Join together with Andy and L'Dor Va-Dor to enjoy a real Sabbath treat, musically and inspiritionally!

L'Dor Va-Dor supports Ukraine against the outrageous attacks from Russia and the needless killing of innocent children and adults. We all need to stand up and support them in their time of need. There are many agencies that you can donate to that are getting aid and support directly to Ukraine. Please be cautious in the agencies that you choose to ensure your donation will be spent wisely. To donate to the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, specifically for Ukraine, please CLICK HERE. Other organizations to donate to are: (1) HIAS, please CLICK HERE. (2) JDC (American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee), please CLICK HERE. Our prayers and thoughts are with those in Ukraine for their safety and well-being.
L'Dor Va-Dor continues to seek places for us to hold services and programming. We will hold our Outdoors Shabbat Live at the West Boynton Park on Friday, APRIL 1st at 6:00 pm ET. We also look forward to holding our APRIL 29th Shabbat service at the Mariposa Senior Living at 7:30 pm ET and hope you will join in! We are hopeful that this could work satisfactorily for us and the residents of Mariposa. If you know of a location that could work for L'Dor Va-Dor, please let us know by calling the congregation phone at 561-968-0688 or email to INFO@LDORVADOR.org. We thank you for your continued support and love.
We wish each of you once more a very Happy Spring! Be well, stay safe, and we hope that you will join us in-person or virtually at some of our upcoming celebrations and programs. We hope that one day soon we will be able to have a place to call our own, but in the mean time, hope that you will continue to be a part of our mishpacha, in helping us to build the Judaism of Tomorrow today!
Have a beautiful week ahead and may it be full of love, laughter and peace!
