We are looking to fund a limited number of new programs / organizations who are addressing social needs in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.

United Way, the City of Spokane, and local non-profits work together on the annual Point-In-Time Count - a community-wide count of our sheltered and unsheltered homeless population known as the Everybody Counts Initiative. Throughout the week there are several community events focused on homeless youth. United Way will sponsor food, provide AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteers to run youth activities, and in partnership with the VA, will deliver 100 hygiene kits to homeless veterans. Join this month for an evening of service, networking, and leadership insights with Carla Cicero, President / CEO of Numerica Credit Union. You will volunteer at Second Harvest and assemble kits for Bite2Go, a program providing weekend food supplies for students. Networking and Q&A with Carla Cicero will follow the volunteer activity.
