Exercises for the Quiet Eye March 27 2:00-4:00pm The Gloucester Lyceum presents a program by art historian, Annie Storrs, that will guide people to fully see the art in front of them. Register here

Left On Pearl Saturday March 20 2:00-4:00pm  A virtual screening followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers. Left on Pearl tells the inspiring story of the 10-day occupation of the Harvard-owned 888 Memorial Drive by grassroots feminist organizers during a 1971 International Women’s Day protest. With contemporary interviews, archival photos and TV news footage, this lively documentary follows the movement as women vocalized the necessity of equal pay and access to child care, birth control and abortion.  Register here

Meet Julie

Our newest Librarian SFL is so pleased to announce the arrival of our newest librarian. Julie comes to us with experience at both Swampscott and Watertown public libraries. She even has her own podcast "Librarians by the Sea". Julie loves helping people find their next great read and will be overseeing our Personalized Reading Program. Be sure to check with her if you want to try reading something new. Right now she's reading "The Divines" by Ellie Eaton.
