Upper Missouri River Basin Drought Indicators Dashboard Tutorials

The Upper Missouri River Basin Drought Indicators Dashboard provides the ability to view drought data across the Pacific Northwest and Northern Plains and is used in drought assessments that inform the US Drought Monitor. The Montana Climate Office at Montana State University developed tutorial videos on using the dashboard. These videos provide an overview of drought in the UMRB,  demonstrate how to access the dashboard, and describe the drought metrics used and how they are calculated for decision making. The tutorials also address how to use the Montana drought impacts reporter. You can also view an overview of the tool on a recent NIDIS webinarLearn more >
