As we think about our long term meeting space plan, Revival Hall Taproom looks a lot like what we want to do. Our vision is very much the same as owners, Mike & Jesse Martin. Therefore, we thought it would be fun to go up and check out their space together. A food truck will be available. Lots of beverage options (including non-alcoholic) are available. If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, check out Suwanee Fest! Parade on Saturday @ 9am. Get there early to find a parking space. Vendors and entertainment all day.
NEW! Good News Connect & Prayer Gathering - Wednesday, Sept. 22 (7pm)
All are welcome to join us for a casual evening of connecting with and praying for one another, the church, and our community. If you're not super comfortable with prayer and praying out loud, it's totally fine if you don't. Just come hang out and participate at whatever your level of comfort. NEW! Men's River Hike at Settles Bridge Park - Saturday, Sept. 25 (8am)
The guys are invited for a morning hike at Settles Bridge Park (380 Johnson Rd., Suwanee, GA 30024). It's about 3 miles of trails (with some hilly terrain) that weaves back along the Chattahoochee River and over to the old Settles Bridge. If you've never been, it's a beautiful hike! LAST CALL - Good News Club Volunteer Sign Up
Our church is sponsoring the after-school Good News Club at Sugar Hill Elementary (2nd - 5th grade students). We'll meet on Tuesdays (3pm - 4:30pm), and we kick off on Tuesday, Sept. 21. Good News Club is kind of like a once a week VBS. It's great fun! If you think you might be interested, we still could use 4-5 volunteers. Bring a Bible Verse to Share
One of the highest values of our church is personal Bible reading and prayer, because that's how we connect with the heart of God (much more than Sunday worship). So, take 5 minutes or so during the worship service to invite people to share a Bible verse that jumped out from their personal Bible reading from the past week. Sharing is optional. NOTE: If you need a good daily bible reading plan, check out the Bible in One Year App. Additional resources listed below.
