The City of Waco, in conjunction with Keep Waco Beautiful, is considering the implementation of a Green Business Program. Please complete this survey to help determine small business needs and interests.

Creative Waco is partnering with Eastside Market, LuluBelle’s, and Waco Downtown Farmers Market to take over four blocks on Austin Avenue May 14-15, 2022 to spotlight talented muralists and local vendors in our community. 

Volunteers will be needed for various festival tasks on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15. Volunteers shifts are in 2 ½ hour increments from 6:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. 

Volunteer tasks will include:

-Assisting mural artists with plot assignments, materials and any other needs
-Directing festival attendees around event and answering any questions at Chalk Waco info booths
-Help with voting on chalk murals
-Trash pick-up/running during vendor markets
-Cleanup/breakdown after markets are over

Volunteers will receive a swag bag with some super cool freebies from local businesses and event sponsors.

The CTMB Equity Fund is now open for emergency business funding. This will be Cen-Tex African American Chamber of Commerce's 4th distribution to minority businesses needing emergency grant funding.

So far, CTAACC has helped 31 businesses and allocated funding in the sum of $85,000. Those who are interested may contact the office at 254-235-3204 or email us at: info@centexchamber.com.
