Good News Family & Friends,

I hope you're having a great week! We're really enjoying our journey through Ephesians on Sunday mornings (and our follow up Beer & Bible study on Tuesdays evenings). Come join us! Also, if you're interested, I though you might enjoy watching (or re-watching) the story we played this past Sunday as a powerful example of reconciliation - Crooked Cop Paired Up with the Man He Framed (3:01 min.).

NEW! Sunday Messages Available Online

Several of you have asked if and when we'll start making the Sunday messages available online. Well, we have good news to share! We're in the process of uploading sermon messages (and teaching notes) to our website for you to listen, enjoy, and share. To access the Sunday message and notes from this past week, click here

For details on other announcements and happenings, see info below.

THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

Breakfast, Connection & Worship (10am)

Join us this Sunday (10am) at Monkey Wrench Brewing for breakfast, connection, and worship! Feel free to bring breakfast food to share (if you'd like). We'll have fresh brewed Phoenix Roasters coffee. Dogs are welcome! Bring your own tailgate chair for maximum comfort! :) For more info about Sundays, click hereNOTE: I'd encourage you to take a moment to read Ephesians 3:1-13 to help you prepare for the message.

NEW! Breakfast Club for Kids (10am)

Elementary, Middle, and High School students are invited to grab breakfast and gather around marked tables (for their age group) with a leader there to welcome and facilitate conversation. Be prepared to connect with others, and to share any good news from your week, prayer requests or concerns. We'll also have activities available for the younger students. For worship, students can remain seated together or return to sit with their families. For questions, contact Laura Warner.

Ephesians Bible Study - Tuesdays (7pm)

we've been having a GREAT time these past Tuesday evenings (7pm - 8:30pm) for our Ephesians Beer & Bible Study at Monkey Wrench Brewing. If you're the least bit interested and are available on Tuesday evenings, you should definitely come join us! Again, you don't have to drink beer, but you're welcome to, if you'd like. Monkey Wrench also has a new Rum Slushy machine, and those are delicious, too! :) NOTE: I'd encourage you to take a moment to read Ephesians 3:1-13 to help you prepare for the conversation.

VISION & VALUES

The vision of Good News Church GA is "to experience and express LOVE from God to others." The verse that undergirds our vision is Galatians 5:5b, “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” We value people, community, relationships, prayer, and Bible reading. We also value being able to be yourself. We’re all struggling with something, so there’s no need to pretend that we have it all together.

MISSION

The mission of Good News Church GA is "to connect with people and build relationships through community workshops, neighborhood-focused ministry, serving local needs, mentoring, and worship."
