We Will Be Broadcasting TODAY @ 3pm
on Facebook Live
At Bogart's Entertainment Center
Join the Apple Valley Chamber on Facebook Live today at 3 pm. where we will be broadcasting from Bogart's Entertainment Center. We chose Bogart's because today is their second day back after reopening on Wednesday for Phase III of the Stay Safe MN Plan. While they were temporarily closed, Bogart's invested $150,000 to upgrade their facility and to be compliant with the new guidelines. Chamber President Ed Kearney & Chamber Chair Tasha Wells (Coldwell Banker Burnet) will be talking with Chris Loth who is the Marketing Director of Bogart's and discussing how ALL businesses are ready to open at 100%, a subject we we feel very strongly about and have joined together with 50 other Chambers to jointly relay that message to Governor Walz ( SEE BELOW ). We will also be discussing how we need to shift the focus back to small business and shopping local.

Once you follow us you will get a notification on your device when we go live. It's that easy!

´╗┐Together in
Communication to Governor
As One Strong Voice
Apple Valley Chamber Members:

For over 3 months, many local businesses have been shuttered, workers furloughed, supply chains disrupted and community engagement lost. APPLE VALLEY CHAMBER as part of MINNESOTA READY CHAMBER COALITION of 50+ CHAMBERS has worked tirelessly to influence all levels of government, inform businesses and facilitate and help individual businesses.

Over a week ago, Apple Valley Chamber along with Burnsville, Hastings and River Heights Chambers sent a strong letter to the Governor to open. Soon Phase 3 was approved to open June 10th.

This week, together with 50 Chambers call upon Governor Walz to finish the job OPEN ALL BUSINESSES FULLY by JUNE 19th. WE ARE APPLE VALLEY READY!    Opening fully would offset the costs of staff, safe remodeling and allow ALL employees return. All of the states surrounding us are fully open and have been for weeks.

DATE CERTAIN JUNE 19th allows for advance notice for rehiring, safety, promotion and to build confidence again. Small businesses were disproportionately impacted since March 13th closing and comprise nearly 1/2 of all jobs and are 2 of every 3 new jobs.

In an effort to get this message across, all of the Chambers involved in MINNESOTA READY will be going live on Facebook today at 3 pm (including the Apple Valley Chamber, as discussed above), and have sent a letter to his office for his review.
What Can YOU Do?

´╗┐Reach out to local legislators and Governor Walz that all Minnesota businesses should be allowed to safely open by June 19. Your voice will help lawmakers understand the critical nature of their decision making on the lives of hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans. Make your voice heard here or reach out to each legislator individually via their contact info below. We have been told that short, sweet and to the point messages are read and received more than long and specific.
